Genoa Pharmacy--start buprenorphine in a PAID research study

Are you struggling with opioid problems and interested in starting buprenorphine/Suboxone treatment at a pharmacy? The MATPharm Study team at Rhode Island Hospital seeks participants for a 3-month study to try out a new approach for providing medication care for people with opioid use disorder. You can start buprenorphine treatment in about an hour by a specially trained Genoa Pharmacist. The study compares usual care to a new care approach at a specialty community pharmacy. There are 6 specialty pharmacy locations throughout Rhode Island, and all pharmacies have the capacity to provide telehealth care and to directly deliver medication. Part of the study is completing interviews and you will receive cash for answering questions about your health and telling us about your experience in the study.
