Summary: The Warehouse Runner is responsible for delivering and picking up material from various job sites. Ensures that material quality standards are met and facilitates a seamless flow in the distribution of material to installers and vendors. Provides support to warehouse when not in the field. Responsible for creating efficient daily routes to supply and pick up material. Works hand in hand with Production and Pre-Production. Ensures safety is a priority while transporting material in a company owned vehicle. Adheres to State laws and company policies. Reports to: Warehouse Manager Duties: 1- Delivers material to different job sites and ensures PO is signed by the person receiving the material. 2- Picks up material from various jobsites and checks for accuracy, condition, and reports to warehouse Manager 3- Stablishes efficient daily routes 4- Reports returns to Warehouse Manager 5- Communicate ASAP with Production, Pre-Production or Warehouse Manager when material to be picked up is not onsite 6- Adhere to warehouse best practices and protocols. 7- Conducts a physical truck inventory in order to keep truck stocked with the most commonly material needed at jobsite. 8- Attend departmental meetings when required 9- When not in the field, fulfill the role of a Warehouse Associate whose responsibilities involve: assisting with getting material ready for installers, receiving, unloading trucks, use of forklift, checking in material, sorting and placing materials on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Skills and Qualifications • High school diploma or GED • Driver’s License (Required) • Good driving record. • Spanish a plus • Experience in warehouse & operating a box truck a plus • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch/crawl, climb or balance • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move 40 pounds or more. Schedule: • Monday-Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm • Saturday 7am to 12 noon
