Utilities One Inc is looking for an experienced Power Supply Technician with their own bucket truck preferred for the following locations: 1. Boston, MA 2. Methuen, MA 3. Project Description: Installation of aerial and underground power supply devices and cables, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, or replacing the customer’s equipment, auxiliary facilities, and equipment for the distribution of electricity as needed. Great Advancement Opportunities Responsibilities: - Be able to work on equipment that would require bending, stooping, walking, climbing, and other physical activities involved in performing the essential duties of the job; - Travel required; - Safely operate a bucket truck and work off a ladder; - Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, or replace the customer’s equipment as needed; - Works closely with the Supervisor and Project Managers for work assignments such as data collection and test procedures; - Work outside in varying conditions, 5-6 days per week; - Operates Bucket trucks, hand tools, power tools, ladders, signal level meters, voltmeters, and other test equipment; - Completes paperwork, timesheets, test results, vehicle inspection, and logs; - May perform other duties not listed; Qualifications: - At least 1 year of telecommunications experience preferred, WILL TRAIN; - A valid, unrestricted driver’s license; - Work aloft up to 32 feet in a bucket truck or on a ladder; - Basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner; - Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position; - Self-motivated, ambitious, and energetic individual, with a proven record of high productivity & performance; - Ability to work professionally while communicating effectively with customer and employees;
