Please Apply Via This Link! POSITION SUMMARY Support all activities surrounding the blending, production and manufacturing of FDI products and facilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Support in all aspects of blending and manufacturing products (Resin and FAC) to include: • Pre-batch preparation, labeling and wrapping drums, jugs and boxes • Unloading, stocking and maintaining manufacturing inventory to include raw materials, pallets, drums, jugs, boxes, etc. • Pre and mid-batch preparation and ongoing support to ensure all raw materials are ready as needed throughout batch • Packaging finished product into drums, jugs and boxes • Support in maintaining manufacturing inventory for raw materials and other necessary equipment and supplies • Support in maintaining manufactured finished product inventory • Any other duties as assigned by supervisor • Support in all aspects of plant/facility and building maintenance to include: • Equipment upkeep and preventative maintenance • Cleaning and maintenance of manufacturing equipment • Cleaning and maintenance of plant/facility, both inside and outside • Support in proper disposal of all facility trash, garbage and waste • Any other duties as assigned by supervisor • Warehouse support to include: • Support in the assembly of Foaming Rigs and Equipment • Support in maintaining the foam manufacturing parts and build inventory • Fulfilling, packaging and loading all outgoing orders • Unloading drum truck • Cleaning and maintaining kettle • Any other duties as assigned by supervisor KEY COMPETENCIES • Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. • Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. • Current driver’s license • Ability to work in a team or independently • Ability to operate equipment and tools • Communication - Talking to others to convey information effectively • Ability to work in confined spaces EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate). PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or crawl. The employee will be working with various types of chemicals and will be required to comply with all PPE guidelines. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50-80 pounds and occasionally must be able to lift a maximum of 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
