Why you ask? Number 1, no one is going to sell a pet for $5... And 2, some of these rehoming fees are WAY WAY too high... I mean to the point that it's greater than the actual care of the pet!! That's why alot of people will rescue first before they pay the amounts that SOME (not all) people are asking. If they are going to spend a goodly sum, a rescue is more valid in pricing. Personally, I feel rescuing a pet is way better of an idea.. Some of the people buying pets need some of that money to help THEM with the pet they are buying. Not for some seller to pocket a bunch of money that should not have been charged. I understand the issue for pure breeds and the like, but even they are priced ridiculous in SOME (not all) cases...in my humble opinion... Someone without alot of money may give more love and care than someone who can pay!! These sellers are all about love and care for the pet but make the prices about impossible for someone who really and genuinely want to love and care for the pet. Maybe sellers need to get to know the people that are interested in the pet and see the heart and intentions instead of how much they can line their pockets with... Again, not all are like that but it is an issue and it needs to be addressed... Just my humble opinion here...
