Otherwise just let the customer know before hand if they purchased the part, if it fails they have to pay labor again. NO oil changes NO engine swaps NO Trans swaps If you want to do engine swaps or transmission swaps on the easier cars you can definitely do it. I chose not to. Must be an EXPERIENCED mechanic Must be honest Preferably ASE certified You will make a LOT more money than YourMechanic. 85/hr instead of 40 or whatever they pay and you make profit on parts.
