Warehouse & Inventory Control Associate - OAHU, HAWAII Type : Immediate, Full-Time Qualification : 3 Years Warehouse and Inventory Control Experience, Current Oahu Resident Functions : Inventory Cycle Counts, General Warehouse Operations, Truck & Forklift Operation. Reports to : Warehouse Manager FSLA : Hourly, Non-Union POSITION SUMMARY A leader in the Hawaii renewable energy market since 2007, Hawaii Energy Connection, LLC is seeking to add a full time Inventory Control / Warehouse Associate to our team. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must incorporate the following job functions. • Collaborate with warehouse management and associates on accurate monthly cycle counts of all inventory. • Assist our electricians and field installation crews with equipment selection and loading. • Pick, pack and ship equipment bundles to neighbor island destinations. • Receive, count and stock incoming inventory. • Collaborate on company vehicle fleet management including maintenance schedules and documentation. • Operate forklifts, trucks and other vehicles to facilitate general company operations and equipment movement. • Collaborate with teammates on overall warehouse organization, cleanliness and efficient operation. PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements; • Candidate MUST CURRENTLY RESIDE IN THE STATE OF HAWAII. • Have Minimum 3 years experience in Inventory Control and General Warehouse Operations. • Hold a valid Hawaii State Driver’s License with a clean driving record. • Submit to our standard pre-employment drug screening and company wide random screening policy. PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS • Possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, have a strong work ethic, be honest, reliable and punctual. • Seek to collaborate with co-workers, managers and owners on safety, constant improvement, quality workmanship, best practices, customer service and a positive company culture. • Incorporate into all activities, personal integrity, critical thinking, attention to detail and creative problem solving. FORMAL EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS • High School or Associates Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience. • Hawaii State Drivers License, Clean Driving Record • Beneficial but not necessary for hire: Forklift Certification, CPR Certification COMPUTER SKILLS • Mid-level experience using a tablet and/or personal computer. • Mid-level experience using spreadsheets, inventory systems and email. WORKING CONDITIONS • Safely driving company vehicles, operating forklifts and small tools, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate small tools, tablet, laptop, and other equipment. • May require early morning, late afternoon and/or periodic Saturday work schedules.
