Aloha! If you work in retail, a restaurant or an office, you can do this more rewarding and more relaxed job! I need help in my tranquil Kailua home with light cooking, housecleaning, running errands and paperwork. My mornings are casual and include washing my face, shampooing my hair and dressing. Some lifting (I weigh 170). You must be at least 5'2" to reach around me for lifting. My home is yours to enjoy while you're here, and is very accommodating. My team and I have occasional outings and get-togethers as a group for the fun of it. We have a good community here and most of my staff have been here three years or more. I'm a kind and very active 61-year-old man, paralyzed from the neck down. I design and program computer games for a living, and participate in local organizations and government. No experience or CNA license required. This is a great opportunity to gain CNA-related skills if you are just starting out. I can teach you as we work. This job offers a chance to learn about health care, computers, cooking, basic tools, and everyday research (e.g., Web searching, note taking, phone skills). I provide paid training for a minimum of three days or until you are comfortable. Pay starts at $16.50/hr, time-and-a-half on holidays, and yearly raises. HMSA health and dental insurance after 4 20-hr weeks. My staff may trade shifts, within reason, to accommodate vacations and special occasions. Additional shifts will open in the future. I pay by check and withhold Social Security. I withhold taxes if you like. I am currently looking for someone to jump on board with these shifts: * Two to three day shifts 7a-7p. Exact days are negotiable. I ask for a minimum commitment of 6 months. It's important be very reliable, punctual, and have stable transportation. Drivers license preferred.
