Understanding the changes your body goes through from first to last trimester can help you prevent injury, maintain function, and give you a headstart on your postpartum recovery. Join us for an educational workshop led by our Pelvic Health Physical Therapists, Bridget O’Halloran and Sarah Ellison, from our Kendall Square office! Bridget and Sarah will discuss the important roles your core and pelvic floor play during pregnancy and delivery. Topics will include: - Understanding the role of the core and pelvic floor in pregnancy - Pregnancy-related changes to the body that can affect movement- General exercise guidelines for pregnancy- How to prevent common conditions and injuries that can occur during pregnancy and in the postpartum period We are excited to answer your questions, connect you with other expecting mothers, and help you discover how you can confidently move and exercise throughout pregnancy and beyond! *Per City of Cambridge COVID guidelines, max capacity for this outdoor event will be 25 attendees.
