Come out for the biggest testing event of the year!! What better way to celebrate the day than to know your status? In Waterbury, 78% of newly diagnosed HIV cases were Black & Brown folks. Nearly 25% of those cases were men who have sex with men (DPH, 2019). Aside from free testing, the event will feature other community resources pertaining to Harm Reduction, Behavioral Health, and Medical Care. There will be plenty of snacks & giveaways, too! This event is being put on on in collaboration with: Waterbury Health Department, Q.U.E.S.T. (Queer Unity Empowerment Support Team), StayWell Health Center, Community Health Center, Wellmore Behavioral Health, For Right Now Corporation, and the Center for Human Development.
