We are a national logistics company seeking a warehouse freight handling leadman in providing warehouse support for a local distribution center in Royal Palm Beach, FL. This individual must be highly motivated and able to motivate team members to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Forklift experience desired yet not required. Experience handling cash/check transactions preferred. Requirements All applicants must be at least 18 years of age Must have reliable transportation Must pass a drug test and background check Individuals must be able to pick up 50lbs repetitively and be able to work in -20 degree temperatures when necessary. Skills & Responsibilities Ability to direct workforce in offloading trailers and downstacking product Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other team members Unload trucks on a timely basis using various equipment such as end rider tuggers and forklifts Handle product throughout the warehouse Strong communication and conflict resolution skills dealing with people and working situations Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Excellent customer service skills Willingness to meet and exceed customer expectations Must maintain a good attitude towards the customer and the team at all times. Schedule 10:00pm-6:00am Overtime is required if your area of responsibility is unfinished Weekly schedules to be discussed Starting Wage and Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life benefits available after 90 days Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $16.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations: Masks required in the warehouse.
