Very busy dog walking/cat care service needs two to three excellent dog walkers to begin asap. We need to fill a M-F position and also a Saturday through Tuesday position with potential for more fill in. *Looking for someone who is available approximately 10-6 M-F or weekends depending on which shift you are applying for *Able to work in all weather conditions * Is in good shape: this position requires walking for possibly 5 or 6 hours/day. *Experience with animals REQUIRED and you must be comfortable with all breeds of dogs, large or small with varying temperaments AND cats. No cat or dog allergies please! *Background check required *Minimum 9 month commitment required *available for occasional overnights in a client's home You must be great with animals and people! This is a service job and sometimes you will have to interact with clients so you must be friendly and outgoing. Due to the nature of this job you should live in Brooklyn. It is also preferred that you are at least 21 years old. Dog walking is a fun and rewarding job but can also be a lot of work. We want our walkers to enjoy their job but also expect a high level of responsibility and reliability. You must be good at managing time. The pay is generous and opportunities for evening/weekend walks (at a higher level of pay) as well as dog sitting will come up often so the more availability you are the more money you will make. We do not have a lot of turnover and find our walkers tend really like their jobs. We encourage a friendly environment where you'll be part of a team and want our walkers to stay with us (happily) as long as possible.
