Join the NYWEA Metropolitan and Lower Hudson Young Professionals in Beacon, NY on Saturday, June 5th at 11AM. This event is entirely outdoors. Participants must follow all state and local COVID-19 guidelines. Before the event all participants will receive a COVID-19 questionnaire via email and will be responsible for completing prior to arrival. The questionnaire was prepared by NYWEA for the purposes of in-person events. To accommodate participants that chose to travel via train (MetroNorth to Beacon), we will begin the hike at the Beacon Train Station. This is a 3-mile hike of light intensity following the Riverfront Trail and looping around Dennings Point. Participants can choose to continue the group activity through Madam Brett Park to a waterfall which would result in a 6-mile hike. Note that all distances are measured starting and ending at the Train Station. At this time, attendance will be capped at 30 people and you must register in advance. We will open the Eventbrite later this week where you will have the opportunity to add up to 2 tickets for non-NYWEA members that would like to join us! All attendees must follow all event guidelines. We look forward to seeing you there!
