Join the Bryan/College Station ABWA Chapter on June 1st to learn about how our local economy is faring and recents efforts and victories for the Brazos Valley from our featured speaker, Matt Prochaska, President and CEO of the Brazos Valley Economic Development Corporation. Matt will discuss the mission and work of the BVEDC to help facilitate jobs, investment, and entrepreneurship in the Brazos Valley, as well as our community's strengths and partnerships. Come, invite your friends and colleagues! Matt received both his Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Speech Communication from Texas A&M University with an emphasis in international business development. Matt is passionate about workforce development and is actively involved in community service. Some of the organizations and boards he serves on are: Texas A&M University System RELLIS External Academic Advisory Council, the Workforce Solutions Brazos Valley Board, the Vista College Institutional Advisory Committee, and the TEES Advisory Board. Check in and networking will begin after 5:30 pm. Dinner will be served at 6 pm, and the meeting will begin with introductions shortly thereafter.
