4th Annual Immi'Art Show celebrating the arts, culture, and activism of immigrant, LGBTQIA+, womxn, and ally artists in Los Angeles. The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA) celebrates Immigrant Heritage Month with Immi’Art , a diverse art exhibition, hosted at Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA) in LaFayette Park. We are celebrating 35 years of activism and resiliency led by CHIRLA and immigrant artists. Opening night for Immi'Art is Tuesday, June 8, 2021, 6-9 p.m., at the Ezralow Family Pavilion, HOLA (Heart of LA), 2701 Wilshire Blvd #100, Los Angeles, CA 90057. The exhibition runs through June 12th, 2021 and is open to everyone -no ticket needed after the opening night. Immi'Art features the work of emerging and veteran visual artists who are immigrant or of immigrant heritage. The exhibition spotlights womxn, DACAmented youth, LGBTQIA+, and self-made crafts makers of diverse ethnic backgrounds. Immi'Art showcases various media, including paintings, drawings, prints, sculpture, ceramics, mosaics, photography, film, design, crafts, and new media. The opening night event includes guest speakers and music performances.
