Chef Oumar from The Damel has traveled the world, starting in Senegal, West Africa to Argentina to the shores of Brazil. He is bringing the fruits of his travels to us right here in Alameda. His shrimp acaraje was my favorite Brazilian appetizer until I tried his Dibi Lamb from our outdoor grill. OMG! Dibi is a slow-roasted meat (usually chicken or lamb) dish from Senegal, that you have got to try! And of course the signature Argentinian Empanadas.
