Rampant Roots - Thursday's in May With a passion and undeniable respect for roots music the guitarists use a blended style of music consisting of blues, reggae, funk, rock, and even bluegrass, to form a night of soul jams. Rampant Roots consists of Will Effertz, the lyricist, vocalist and guitarist of the group. Demitri Rallis, also from the infamous jam group Frogleg, known for his soulful lightning solos. Josh Maxwell also from Headband Jam, fills the room with the thundering bass. And finally the spine of the band, Derek Fagorwold, who can be found playing with countless bands within the twin cities, bringing the rampant rhythm.
