It's outdoor DIY!! Enjoy a bit of nature while you learn how to paint on a wooden round or serving tray. Cost for the round is $35 or make it into a serving tray for $45. No painting experience is needed. We take you through the process step by step. July 15th 5-8PM: Stop in any time during these hours and paint at your leisure. Take home or pick up later: If you want to turn your piece into a serving tray, I will put a protective finish on your tray and handles. You can then pick up at our office in town starting July 21st Monday-Friday 10-5:30 or by appointment. For Serving Tray Pick up our office is at 507 N Central Ave Marshfield, WI 54449 Each person will receive their very own 15" wooden round. Instructors will be available if you would like to learn how to paint our "Abstract Plants" theme or feel free to freestyle paint using the supplies we have. "Abstract Plants": We start by creating a background with layers of acrylic paint. We then use artificial foliage to print on plant patterns. After that, we add accents of metallic colors and black ink to emphasize the plant patterns. From there, I take the pieces to my workshop where I coat them with a protective finish. You can choose from a glossy or more satin finish. We add an antique bronze set of handles for you and bring your piece back for pick up the following Wednesday (July 21st). There will be light refreshments served at no charge. Tickets must be purchased through Eventbrite. Ticket sales end Tuesday, July 13th.
