Eighth Annual Rescue Ball The Eighth Annual Rescue Ball is Valdosta's largest animal rescue fundraiser of the year. It will start at 6:30 pm on Saturday, October 2, 2021 in the Valdosta State University Ballroom which is located on the 3rd Floor of the Student Union. This gala event includes dinner, drinks, live music, reverse drawing, jewelry drawing, and silent auctions. Almost Home Charities is hosting this event to benefit both BARC Humane Society and the Humane Society Valdosta-Lowndes. Music will be provided by The Remedy.
