Detroit Audubon and the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy join forces to learn more about the birds and history of the Detroit Riverfront.
Join Frank Ford from Detroit RiverFront Conservancy and Jim Bull from Detroit Audubon for a walk where we'll learn all about Detroit Riverfront history and the birds that call the Detroit River home. We'll start our walk at Gabriel Richard Park, where we'll visit the Detroit Audubon birding station and look for Bald Eagles and more! Then, we will caravan over to Cullen Plaza, where we'll explore the wetland habitat and meadow and learn more about the history of the Detroit Riverfront.
****Please contact us if you would like to attend, but the ticket price is prohibitive****
A note on COVID safety protocols: Great news! The vaccines are working, the number of cases is dropping fast, and the world is opening back up. Out of an abundance of caution, and to ensure that everyone on the walk feels secure, at this time we are still encouraging all individuals to continue mask wearing.
We also ask that do not attend if you are feeling unwell or have been in close contact with an indivdual who has tested positive for Covid 19.
