WEST CHESTER, PA, – A West Chester man is facing 50 counts of child pornography following an investigation by West Chester Police.
In February, police were notified that a person was viewing obscene material on a laptop, which was brought to the West Chester Police Department.
The laptop was sent to Chester County detectives for a forensic examination, who found numerous images of child pornography on the laptop.
Damion Bovell, 24, was arrested and arraigned on May 8 in District Court. He was remanded to Chester County Prison after failing to post bail, according to police.
Bovel was charged with 50 counts of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.
