Press release from the Chester County Library System: May 20, 2021 With the recent change to the CDC and PA Department of Health guidance regarding mask wearing, Libraries are beginning to make some changes to their restrictions. This is a local Library Board decision and is decided by the Board looking at the occupancy limits, vaccination status in the community and other factors. Additionally, many children are not eligible for the vaccine at this time and we want to ensure the safety of our youngest customers where space may be limited.  Please know that restrictions will continually evolve as the science is reviewed. We rely on the professionals for guidance. We know the lifting of other PA Department of Health restrictions are scheduled on June 1stand we will be working to keep this page up to date as good as we can, however as always, please check with your local library for specific restrictions before visiting.  Joseph L.
