Job Purpose: Repairs gates and operators; Auto/Entry, Repairing, replacing, and refinishing parts; Experience is preferred; Maintaining records; Operational evaluation of gate/operator malfunctions. Familiarity with all models of gate operators and activation devices a must. Knowledge of man door operation and parts wanted. Duties: * Repairs by evaluating damage; preforming repairs on site at time of call; coordinating repairs with other required services; reporting on work preformed or further needed actions. * Repairs by investigating operational issues; repairing; Applying repair techniques and tools based on needed requirements; Continued training available. * Maintains quality service by following repair standards; conducting operational testing and final inspection; correcting deficiencies; obtaining approval and signature from customer at completion. * Documents actions by completing records; Mobile check-in/out. * Maintains tools and equipment by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance. * Maintains supplies by anticipating needs. * Maintains safe work environment by adhering to work standards and practices. * Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' specifications. * Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; Skills/Qualifications: Familiarity with all models of Gate Operators and Activation devices a must, Excellent Verbal Communication, E-Verification Required, Basic Safety, Valid Drivers License, Equipment Maintenance, Functional and Technical Skills, Attention to Detail, Safety Management. Entry/Auto technician ADAAMS Certification is preferred. Job Type: Full-time Salary: $18.00 hour for Gate/Operator Technician $20.00 hour for Entry/Auto Door Technician Rate of pay based on experience and qualification requirements.
