Press release from the White Plains Public Library: May 19, 2021 Our next Virtual 10 SLAM* is scheduled for June! Join Zork and Kristen on the usual First Wednesday, June 2nd, from 7:00–9:00 p.m. Pre-registration is required to try and accommodate as many poets as possible. To register to perform, send your name (how you'd like to be introduced), email address, and a short 60-word bio as a reply to [email protected]. If you know the title of the poem you'll be performing ahead of time, you can also include that in your email. If you just wish to attend but not perform, register through the form here. All are welcome! *For those of you who aren't familiar with our 10-Slams, we combine our open mic and Slam registrations and don't score the performances. Everyone gets a 10 out of 10! Remember, you can find the SLAM on Facebook AND YouTube. Facebook has the daily open mic poem every single day at 8:30 a.m. and FEATURE FRIDAY is every single Friday in 2021 at 6:30 p.m. (on both Facebook AND YouTube).
