'FoCo Works' Virtual Hiring Event Set For Friday

CUMMING, GA — Amid the tight labor market, several Halcyon businesses are partnering with local nonprofit The Place of Forsyth County and the Forsyth County Chamber to connect both local talent seeking careers and people seeking summer positions with opportunities during the first, free "FoCo Works" virtual career fair from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, May 21. Representatives from participating Halcyon businesses — including CMX CineBistro, HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern, Salata Salad Kitchen, Pita Mediterrean Street Food and the soon-to-open Cattle Shed Wine & Steak Bar — will be available in virtual booths to briefly discuss open positions, qualifications and how to apply. Attendees will also be able to ask questions about the company and specific opportunities. Free registration is online.
