Description
female bearded dragon up for rehoming. About 5 mos old now. Does NOT come with set up. Rehoming fee of $150.
She came to me as a rescue. Wasn’t in the proper set up or cage size. Also was way under weight. She’s finally at a healthy weight for her size. Healthy. And devours Dubia Roaches, Superworms, Mealworms, crickets, & Repashy AMAZINGLY!
She’s friendly and easy to handle, even with children. She’s been well socialized & loves to bask in the window for natural uvb light.
✅You will need a minimum size set up of a 40gal breeder tank, proper heat lamp and bulb (no colored bulbs as they make them go blind), a UVB tube and fixture (not a coil bulb as they don’t give off enough to keep her growing and healthy). As well as Calcium Powder with D3 and also without D3, multivitamin powder, & probiotic powder. She should be fed 2x a day. Once in the morning and once at night. Still should have 80% bug intake and 20% veggie intake until she is at one year of age, than it should be flipped to 80% veggie and 20% big intake per week.
❤️🔥Her cool side should be 70-75 degrees, hot side 85-95 degrees, and her basking spot should register at 105-115 degrees to ensure proper digestion and to make sure she doesn’t get impacted or regurgitate for not being warm enough ❤️🔥
💥 These animals are NOT for beginners. If you’re looking for a beginner lizard, I’d suggest a Leopard gecko 💥
💰Feeder are NOT cheap for these guys and they go through them like the kids digging in Grandmom’s candy dish. Be ready to spend $40+ a week for feeder bugs. **CRICKETS SHOULD NOT BE FED DAILY AS THEY ARE PRONE TO GIVE THEM TOO MANY PARASITES, AND WILL MAKE THEM RAPIDLY LOSE WEIGHT AND NOT WANT TO EAT. Bearded dragons are notorious for hiding signs of illness if you don’t know what you’re looking for, what to do, or how to treat it. Exotic vets are also not cheap for these guys if they’re needed.
