Hoover Man Among 2 Workers Found Dead At Irondale Car Dealership

IRONDALE, AL — Two men were found dead Wednesday in a storage room at a car dealership in Irondale. The Jefferson County Coroner has identified the men as 47-year-old Eric Michael Simonson of Birmingham and 34-year-old David Rennix McHugh of Hoover. The men were found just after 1 p.m. Wednesday in an upstairs storage room at EchoPark Automotive on Tom Williams Way. Police say Simonson and McHugh were contract workers doing computer work for the dealership, and no immediate evidence of foul play has been found. Cause of death is pending an autopsy report.
