Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 05/19/2021   On Wednesday May 19, 2021 at around 1:45am officers responded to 1425 Joseph E Boone Blvd NW on a report of a person shot. On scene officers found the victim, a 40-yr-old female, with a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition. Preliminary investigation found that the victim had been standing on the corner of the building at the location when a vehicle passed by in the street. As the vehicle passed someone one inside began shooting and the victim was wounded. The investigation is continuing.
