Hello! During the pandemic, I have been working with several families out of an amazing, privately owned space, in Mount Washington on the outskirts of Highland Park, offering care and managing some pretty crazy kindergarten zoom schedules. A few of the families have asked me to stay on to offer summer care and we are looking for a few other families who would like to join us. The property itself is amazing and the outdoor space we would be utilizing is huge!! I have worked painstakingly to set up the outdoor space to mirror a preschool classroom, while still giving the kids the experience of being in nature. The current children involved are between the ages of 5 and 6 years old and we would love to find kids around this same age to keep the interest level/activities offered aged appropriate. Both boys and girls are welcome!!! I would be available to care for the kids M-F between the hours of 9am and 3pm at the property at a weekly rate of $220.00. Dates of my availability currently lie between June 14-August 13th. We are open to talking with families who are in need of care on a week to week basis, so please reach out if there are weeks within that time frame you need care. My background: I have years of experience in the Early Childhood field as a teacher and a former Director (references available), working with children ranging between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years of age. Covid has changed the way things are currently being handled in childcare (as with everything else in life) and I am so pleased to be able to offer this amazing and unique opportunity to families in need of a little extra care this summer!
