Blue Self cloning marmokreb crayfish. These crayfish are all female and do not need a male to reproduce. These crayfish reach a maximum of about 6 inches. The ones I have for sale are between 1 and 3 inches. Let me know what size you are interested in. They can be kept with fish, but they will try and sometimes succeed in catching small guppy sized fish. Larger fish are usually ok, although crayfish will take out weak and diseased fish. If kept in a tank with aggressive large fish, crayfish will need a place to hide as very aggressive fish can kill crayfish pretty easily. These crayfish have anywhere from 20 to 200 babies about 2-3 times a year depending on tank conditions. It's better to keep them with fish to keep the population down as fish will eat most of the babies every time. They prefer cooler room temperature water (no heater needed), but will do ok with tropical fish and warmer water as long as you have a good functioning filter with good oxygen levels. I also keep my tanks slightly less than full (like an inch below the top) to prevent any runaway crayfish. They are very interesting pets and most have good color, but the juveniles (1.5 inches and under) are usually greenish brown and won't turn fully blue until they are 2 inches. They start to reproduce usually at 2 inches in size.
I have been fully vaccinated but if you are uncomfortable picking up indoors - just let me know and I will meet you outside my house (front door (which has a small overhang) or I have a very large back deck).
