I am looking for a Photographer to work as a second shooter at occasional weddings and to assist in posing. This is a contract-based opportunity for a photographer to build their portfolio and to advance their career. We are committed to offering high quality photographic services at a reasonable cost. Responsible students with excellent skills and portfolios can apply. Responsibilities • Collaborate with the lead photographer in capturing images that capture the unique story of the wedding and the people involved. • Provide raw images at the conclusion of each shoot for the lead photographer to edit. Second shooter will retain copyright to the images but grant the lead photographer unlimited use. • Provide evidence of reliability and punctuality. • Use and maintain a professional grade Canon camera. • Assist in arranging people, objects, scenes, lighting and background to adhere to specifications. • Direct participants in posing. • Maintain an in depth understanding of photographic best practices and procedures. • Have access to reliable vehicle. Potential work come from a 75 mile radius of Boston. • Vaccinated against the Covid 19 virus. Skills • Proven professional shooting experience • Ability to deal effectively and graciously with people of all ages, genders, and social backgrounds • Emotionally evocative portfolio • Proficient with a Canon professional grade camera • Shooting and lighting skills • Competency in applying photographic best practices and techniques • Photography degree or similar or enrolled in a college or university fine arts program Must provide link to portfolio and three references.
