Description

We are looking for one part-time and one full-time caregiver for our medically fragile son. He is VERY HAPPY and easy to be around but he has some sensory issues and needs assistance with daily living activities, therapy and getting around. We are looking for someone who is reliable, healthy, Covid safe who is positive and fun-loving. Once we determine availability we will come up with a set schedule but flexibility will be helpful in the beginning. Prior experience working with special needs children or adults is preferable but not a requirement. Having your CNA is a definite plus. The hours for this position are provided as part of the State of Oregon's Children's Intensive In-home care program (CIIS). Our son is medically fragile / medically involved, although if you spend time with him, you will see that he is a happy kid that just needs your help with things. Because of our son's condition we need healthy individuals who are rarely sick and can assist in his daily program. The position requires registration with the State of Oregon and a criminal history and background check. I have the paperwork needed to get that process started. The job pays $18+an hour and health insurance is provided through the State. If interested please send an email and tell us a little about yourself, and your prior relevant work experience.
