Marathon Fitness is a supplier of a broad range of health equipment to the commercial fitness markets throughout Texas. This opening is for a position based in Round Rock, Texas. For the right candidate, relocation package possible. Clients include major health clubs, corporations, universities and real estate companies. We represent the best-known names in commercial fitness equipment in the world such as Precor, Escape Fitness, Echelon Fitness and many others. We are seeking sharp people with great customer service skills, great attitudes, and a willingness to take the initiative. Summary: Build, test, delivery and set up company’s line of fitness and exercise equipment. Provide as needed technical assistance and training to customers and field service technicians by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Includes the Following. Other duties may be assigned as required. • Provide client support and technical issue resolution via E-Mail, phone and other electronic medium. Experience with documenting procedures. • Obtain general understanding of application and operations related to the company’s business and products. • Identify, correct, repair or advise, on operational issues for client’s cardiovascular, strength, and AV equipment. • Deliver and install fitness products and provide client orientation and training upon delivery. Must have clean driving record as well as ongoing to remain in job duties. • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language. •Assist in parts inventory management as needed. • Routing, shipping and deliveries schedules. • Repair warranty and non-warranty repairs of fitness related cardiovascular and strength products as needed. • Maintain excellent written and computer records to assist the corporation in invoicing and client management. • Driving skills required: van and pickup truck, and occasionally 26’ box truck (non-CDL) • The position will require extensive driving and employee must possess and maintain an excellent driving record. The geography: 90-mile radius of Austin, Texas with occasional over night travel. When overnight travel is required, company provides per diem is reimbursed at $85 per night for associated meal expense. •Special skills: The job requires lifting and moving heavy boxes and machines in excess of 50 pounds.
