Description

We have five sweet kitties who are ready for their furever homes. They are all fixed (spayed & neutered) so no surprise kittens in the future. They are quite used to each other and our elementary age kids. I do want to mention our kids are used to cats and know how to treat them with respect. It is highly recommended not to leave children unattended around any animals. Please be sure to teach children them how to respect and treat animals as each species needs. They are used to city noise and dogs barking next door but I don't know how they would do with a dog up close. They are all boys except one female. The female is the tortoise shell calico and she is around four years old. The males are two sets of brothers. Three are orange tabbies one beige kitty. They are around one and a half years old. *It is highly recommended not to leave children unattended around any animals. Please be sure to teach children them how to respect and treat animals as each species needs. **Please only inquire if you plan to keep them strictly indoors. They have always been indoors and would not know how to survive outside. ***To better ensure they go to the best homes possible we are asking a rehoming fee of $60 for one or two for $80. That way they would have an old friend to keep them company. This is by no means a source of income. ****Due to Covid-19 concerns we will unfortunately not be conducting any in person meetings with the cats. We have done our best to describe them within this listing. If you have any further questions or concerns please contact us prior to committing to the adoption. We will hand over the chosen kitty in the carrier at the time of the transaction. All business will be conducted outdoors. Bonnie aka "Ms. Bon-Bon": Multi-color tortoise shell with soft medium length fur. She's a gentle little lady. A bit on the shy side. She loves to hang around your feet in the kitchen whether you're doing dishes or cooking. She loves to explore new smells. Bonnie is known to sneak up while you are quiet in bed or on the sofa and put her cheek next to yours and kneads and purrs in your ear. She prefers a calm environment & the company of older humans. (Great match: Chip) Chip: He is pictured in the pink harness. The best of the litter in our opinion. Silky fur, big beautiful eyes and a sweet meow to go with his sweet, gentle spirit. He lost part of his tail before we took him in, no one at the rescue knew what happened. He also had major sinus issues. Our vet examined him and advised it is a herpes virus and his immune system would gradually adjust. He has gotten much better but still has occasional flair ups (he has red/pink tears and sneezes gunk out) from time to time. Chip does great with little girls, he will sit and listen to them. I wouldn't recommend allowing them to play "dress-up" so much just because little girls can get carried away with it. But he is a very tolerant boy. He loves red. Especially red pom-poms. (Great match: Bonnie, Blaze or Momo) Blaze (Chip's bro) He is the orange tabby pictured without the harness. He's a very sweet, mellow guy. Looks a bit like a mountain lion. Odd quirk some humans might find amusing; he likes to imagine fuzzy blankets are females, even though he's neutered. If you catch my meaning... Just so you know... (Great to adopt by himself or with his bro, Chip) Momo: This guy's the smart one. He has learned how to open dresser drawers and cabinets. He is the tan male. His appearance is reminiscent of an Egyptian sphynx cat. He's pictured on his carrier in his blue harness. He loves heaters in the winter, is intrigued with fans. His fur is on the thinner side so he loves to cuddle in the warm bed when it's chilly. He has a wonderfully loud purr as well. (Great match: Chip, Timmy or possibly Blaze) Timmy: The rollie-pollie, "Sumo-cat". He's pictured sitting in his blue harness. Timmy is Momo's brother. He's a sweet, cuddly, adorable little guy. (Great to adopt by himself or with his bro, Momo) Because they are used to being around each other they would be great to keep a couple of them together. If you are looking for more than one to adopt at the same time we can recommend which are best together: Chip goes well with all of them but is best with Bonnie, Momo or his bro, Blaze. Momo is great with any of the group. Timmy is best with his bro, Momo or by himself if you wish to have just one kitty. Blaze is best with Chip, Momo or just by himself. Bonnie is great by herself or with Chip.
