We are looking for a hard-working skilled framer/carpenter to join our small family-owned construction business. Chris Kelley Contracting does all aspects of residential building including minor repairs and maintenance to additions and full home remodels. We value integrity and expect high-quality work from all our employees and sub-contractors. The ideal candidate sees him/herself as a long-term employee and wants to learn and grow with us. Requirements: - minimum of 10-years’ experience in rough framing carpentry. Must have extensive experience with high end/quality framing of custom residential structures. We expect perfectly square, plumb and level framing. Anything less is unacceptable. - must be motivated, hard-working and a quick learner (construction is hard, if you are not willing to work hard and learn, please don’t apply) - experience in all phases of high-quality custom framing, with custom trim carpentry a bonus - experience with excavation, concrete work, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, exterior window and door installation, exterior siding, drywall and texture, painting, hardware installation, plumbing and electrical fixture installation, hardware installation, etc., a plus - ability to lift heavy objects and expert knowledge of operating carpentry tools - strong knowledge of construction safety - Must own full set of basic tools.
