Scampers Daycamp for Dogs in Bellevue is looking for a Rock Solid Front Desk Person for afternoon shifts, with the rare possibility of occasional evening and weekend shifts. This could be a full time or part time position, depending on the candidate. If you're available right away, you can start right away. If you love dogs, are out-going, able to work unsupervised, posseBelss a positive energy, prefer a fast-paced environment, and can project professionalism and poise during client interactions, we want you on our team. If you have experience in client relations or a busy front desk, those skills will translate well into our space. We are looking for maturity, a can-do attitude, and quick-on-the-feet problem solving. We welcome people of all backgrounds. We only ask that you treat the dogs with love and kindness, that you expect to work hard and assimilate into our team. And, you need to have a rock-solid work ethic. You will be interacting with our clients during the busy afternoon pick-up rush, checking out clients, processing payments, and responding to queries in a knowledgeable and professional manner according to Scampers established policies and procedures. You will reflect the voice and philosophy of our ownership. You will learn the Ins & Outs of our kennel management software such that you become a master! You will monitor our In Box and respond to queries. There will also be cleaning tasks - vacuuming, mopping, wiping walls and windows, throughout your shift, to keep our lobby looking spic and span. You will be the second shift anchor for our client-facing environment, so reliability and punctuality are vital. You will be the one who needs to communicate with clients if a dog is struggling with behavioral challenges or managed to get nicked during play. These are not difficult conversations to have when they are handled properly - remember, dog owners are generally a pretty cool and empathetic bunch! Some notes on working with us: - Remember that rock-solid work ethic we talked about? It's important! If you're on the schedule, it's because you are a crucial member of a carefully assembled team. Everyone plays an important part in keeping everyone else (canines and humans) safe. - Reliable transportation is a must - whether you commute by bus or car doesn't matter, but please get to your shift on time! - In Bellevue, we are an indoor/outdoor facility and this is the Pacific Northwest.
