Join the McCormick’s family as we create fun and inspiring flags and costumes for aspiring young performers all around the U.S. Job Type: Seasonal/Temporary Pay: $13.00+/hour (may be more based on experience) Skills: • Proven experience (1-2 years) as a sewing machine operator (Juki cover-stitch, double needle, single needle, and serger) • Ability to work in a fast pace environment and switch between tasks when asked • Strong sense of responsibility • Reliable attendance and reliable transportation • Attention to detail • Must be able to sit or stand for long hours throughout shift depending on the given task • Must be able to understand process specifications and use them to complete the assigned task. • Great communication skills • Must be able to lift to 10 lbs. • MUST be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States As a sewing machine operator your job will be to bring our designers creations to life through the following responsibilities: Responsibilities: • Complete given orders efficiently and cleanly during daily shifts • Meet or exceed given quotas for the day • General machine operating knowledge • Re-threading machine, replacing needles, and winding bobbins • Perform general machine maintenance such as cleaning and small repairs Hours: 8 hours shifts, 40 hours a week Work hours : 7:00 am - 3:30 pm or 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Must be able to work the complete shift
