Role: We are looking for an experienced technician for work involving lighting system maintenance and energy saving upgrade services on lighting equipment at retail facilities, for both interior and exterior lighting. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive Benefit package offerings which include Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Life, and a 401(k) plan. Desired Knowledge: Must understand and be able to use variety of tools including testing devices such as an ohmmeter and voltmeter. Must understand electrical systems with voltages of up to 480 volts. Basic understanding of lighting systems including fluorescent, HID and LED fixtures. Ability to read and understand construction documents/blueprints. Strong Verbal and Written communication skills. Strong customer service skills. Understanding of modern technologies such as iPhone and iPad applications. Job Duties: Comfortable and knowledgeable working from ladders, personnel lifts, and roofs to install, maintain, or repair lighting fixtures, replace lamps and ballasts, and small electrical wiring. Troubleshoot and Replace failed ballasts, drivers, or transformers; damaged sockets/tombstones; and or other components within the confines of lighting fixtures. Perform daily duties and keep accurate inventory of stock. Must be able to maintain and track stocked inventory based on weekly usage. Must be able to manage one’s own time in an efficient and professional manner. Various additional tasks as needed Job Requirements: 2+ years’ experience as Maintenance Electrician or Lighting Maintenance Technician preferred. Ability to troubleshoot and repair lighting fixtures and systems. Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with customers and management Highly motivated, and dependable with a willingness to learn Physically able to climb ladders and lift up to sixty pounds additional training and seminars may be periodically required throughout employment. Pre-employment drug testing and background checks will be required. Safe, daily travel in company vehicle will be required. Valid driver’s license, safe driving record. DOT physical preferred Required Education: High school or equivalent; technical degree preferred Apply here:
