Songwriter Looking to form a Rock/Alt-Rock Band.

Hey all, I'm Cody, 31 y/o songwriter. I've been writing songs and making demos (in Logic Pro) for about a year now, and I'm at the point developmentally where I want to form a band and make records and play gigs and take it seriously. I'm essentially looking for a drummer, bass player, and lead guitarist to round out what I think should be a 4-piece. My strength is songwriting, so I feel I can add the most value from that angle and playing rhythm guitar and keys when necessary. I can sing pretty well also and believe I can handle lead vocals. It would be great if you can sing backup but I can certainly overdub vocals for recordings. I am proficient in mixing as well and have been using Garageband for years and Logic Pro for over a year. I can mix a good enough demo to get the idea across for proper studio recording. I have been playing keys for a few years, I can track, play chords, melodies, anything needed keyboard-wise except for soloing. I have an M-Audio Axiom Air 49 MIDI keyboard that does the job well. I have been playing guitar for 15 months and can track decently and am getting better every day. I have a Fender Jazzmaster, a 6-string acoustic and a 12-string acoustic. Also have a Blackstar amp that sounds great for recording. I would like to create a sound that blends the following influences: (and open to yours as well). I basically am a product of the 60s sound, the 90s grunge sound, and post-grunge. -90's grunge sound (Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Nirvana) -Smashing Pumpkins -Foo Fighters -Seether -Chevelle -The Strokes -Arcade Fire -White Stripes -Rooney -Pixies -REM -Sonic Youth -60s sounds (Beatles, CCR, CSNY, Doors)
