If you work hard for us, we work hard for you to have a bright future. Our company is looking for a reliable full-time Pool Technician with good communication skills to join our team. In this role, you will clean residential and commercial pools daily using brushes, nets, and vacuums; clean and change filters; and monitor pool equipment in Lake Mary, Sanford, and Longwood. Experience understanding how all pool equipment works is a plus. You must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. We will provide a company truck for use on your route. We require at least one year of pool technician experience and someone who enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions. They must be a self-starter who has the ability to work independently with minimal oversight and guidance. We will treat you like a professional, so we expect all of our employees to have a professional demeanor. Duties and Responsibilities · Use vacuum, brush, and net equipment to clean debris · Empty skimmer baskets and pump baskets · Clean and change pool filters · Check water for chemical levels · Add proper chemicals based on chemical levels · Track services provided to each pool on the company’s mobile app · Perform other minor preventative maintenance/repairs Requirements and Qualifications · 1 year pool technician experience REQUIRED · High school diploma or GED certificate · Valid driver’s license and clean driving record · No felony convictions (must pass a criminal background check) · Knowledge of automation, salt systems, various filtration systems and variable speed pump technology is a plus · The ability to utilize a smart phone for our mobile app · The ability to spot equipment repair needs
