VU June Event - Waterfront Partnership/Healthy Harbor Initiative For our June event we will be working with the Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore and the Healthy Harbor Initiative. There are a few activities to choose from: Oyster Cages - learn why oysters are so important to the Chesapeake Bay ecosystem and scrub cages clean so young oysters can thriveCanton Rain Garden - pull weeds and green the rain garden, which helps filter rain water before hitting the Baltimore harborGeneral Clean-Up - cleaning up and picking up trash and debris along the Canton Waterfront Promenade from Canton Waterfront Park to the Boston Street Pier ParkFor all activities we will meet at the Rain Garden, located right in front of Professor Trash Wheel (1200 Anchorage View Ct, Baltimore, MD 21224). There is free street parking or paid parking in the loot in front of Bo Brooks. Please dress in clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Closed toe shoes and a face mask are required.
