Beginner Wheel Throwing - Youth Class Have kids that like to get muddy? Kiddo must be able to sit and follow directions. Now's the chance. Join us for this Instructor led beginner class. You will learn the basics of wheel throwing. The mechanics of a pottery wheel. How to center your clay, pull a wall and trim your finished piece. You will get me make up to 2 pieces of finished pottery. Glaze and firing is included with the class. Your pottery pieces will be ready for pick up within 2 weeks from class. Pottery is food, microwave and dishwasher safe stoneware after fired in our kiln. Left handed - no problem! Please let us know when you arrive so we can adjust your wheel to spin the correct way for a left handed person. We are a relaxed and family friendly studio. Please wear clothes you are ok with getting messy. Apron are provided.
