H.E.A.L. (HELP END ABUSE 4 LIFE) IN HEELS!!! Join DIVAS AGAINST DOMESTIC ABUSE for our 2nd annual H.E.A.L. IN HEELS brunch. This year, we will host former Wife of D.C. Sniper, MS. MILDRED MUHAMMAD, as she speaks on the unimaginable circumstances that she and her children endured for years prior to the monstrous crimes John Muhammad committed against the public. You will also hear other stories of survival from KESA MCCANN and TRISHA FOWLER. Their stories of surviving and overcoming their horrific tragedies will leave you, not only inspired by their strength and courage, but will also solidify their passion for helping others H.E.A.4.L.!There will be education on the warning signs as well as the effects of the ongoing cycle of Intimate Partner Abuse, raffles, giveaways, and more! Ticket proceeds will be donated to Action In Community Through Service (ACTS) Non-Profit Organization to assist victims and survivors in need. Our goal in hosting this brunch is to raise awareness, offer encouragement, and hope for all victims and survivors of domestic and sexual abuse.
