Description

About me: I am an experienced rat owner with a couple of 1yo unfixed male rats (Gon and Killua). They have fun lives and have a dig box, lots of hammocks, and fresh veggies from my garden every day. They are very loved. But ever since their bro passed away they have been looking for buddies :( 2 is such a small mischief, I want them to have a proper social system. I can't have a huge mischief, 5 is my very maximum I can house at the moment. I'm planning on adopting but I figured I would post this in case anyone was thinking of giving away their ratties. I have a quarantine cage that will work as a temporary home to make sure they aren't sick and won't bring illness to my mischief. I will be honest, it is not an ideal cage due to its size, but will work as a temporary home. What I need specifically: -A rat or rats that have never displayed aggression (I mean real bites, not test nibbles or accidental bites through cage bars) to humans or to other rats. This includes fear-based aggression. I don't want to risk my boys' safety. Rats can kill each other if they feel they must. -Male(s) or spayed female(s) because I am not prepared for beans! -If something goes wrong and introductions don't work out, I would prefer you take your rats back but if that is not possible, I understand and accept that they are my responsibility, no harm will ever come to them. I can answer any and all questions and show pictures of their living space to assuade any worries and make sure your ratty's care is up to your standards. I can tell you anything from cage brand, bedding type, current veterinarian, worst case scenario if rats dont get along, etc.
