For consideration, please apply online at: General Job Summary: The position is responsible for maintaining and repairing Tri Tool's product line as assigned to the designated location to ensure inventory is performance ready. Responsibilities include; post rental assessment, diagnosis, and planning of actual repair/refurbishment work as required, final operability testing and complete process documentation of all Tri Tool Machinery. Provides troubleshooting and maintenance support for products and equipment, either in Tri Tool facilities or in the field. Identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed for mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment. Essential Duties/Functions: - Completes all duties and responsibilities in adherence with Tri Tool's core values. - Provide installation/setup support, diagnostic analysis, repair and preventative maintenance for Tri Tool's products at a Tri Tool facility or at customer facility/job site. -Assist delivery trucks in the unloading of incoming shipments, and the loading of outgoing shipments. -Completes shipping paperwork, and packing slips for accurate tracking records. - Inspect, test, and troubleshoot PCBs, electrical harnesses and electromechanical assemblies. Desired, not required. - Setup and conduct functional and verification testing of all Tri Tool product line and industrial automated equipment including automated welding systems. Desired, not required. - Knowledge and understanding of Tri Tool Policy/Procedures, to include; equipment operation, repair techniques, checklist process and general equipment maintenance techniques, including adjustments/calibrations; and participates in further training for all Tri Tool products. - Responsible for final repair and product quality, which includes but is not limited to; repairing and repackaging Tri Tool products for return shipment or restock. - Evaluates/assess Tri Tool rental/lease equipment for readiness prior to shipping by using a check list and sign/initial check for verification of ownership concerning inspection. - Inspect and repairs Tri Tool rental equipment when returned or through warranty and RMA process; documents actual work performed for asset history reporting and reports all obvious misuse of equipment. - Accurately documents and completes all required documentation in department database, including but not limited to time logs, checklists, receiving list, maintaining accurate entries in the spare parts drop shipment, and repair order logs. - Maintains a clean and safe workshop and facility, and assists other technicians as needed. - Provides backup and duties to support the Lease Manager - Effectively and professionally communicates with all internal and external customers with focus on customer satisfaction. - Ability to travel occasionally; domestically and internationally for potential periods of up to 4 weeks. Minimum Education: - High School Diploma Required with; AA Degree, Technical Training, related Military Training, or proven relevant work experience. - Knowledge and ability to safely diagnose, troubleshoot, and carry out repairs to mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical integrated equipment. - Manual shop mill and lathe knowledge and experience Minimum Experience Required: - Minimum five years related work experience in mechanical and electromechanical assemblies; with field experience preferred - Familiarity developing sub-assembly and system level test procedures and associated test fixtures and documentation. - Experience with gas-tungsten/gas metal welding arc characteristics and phenomenon preferred. Desired, not required. - Familiarity and/or personal experience in welding technology preferred Skills Required: - Ability to understand electronic and hydraulic schematics, wiring diagrams - Ability to Safely operate power tools and forklifts with no supervision - Electronics prototyping, diagnostics and repair skills - Must own basic repairing tools - Basic Computer Skills Typical Working Conditions: Work is primarily conducted within a workshop/warehouse environment. The work may also include an outdoor or job site environment based on customer needs. Depending on the Location the climate can vary in areas of temperatures, exposure to fumes, solvents, chemicals, lubricants, and loud machinery. Equipment Used: Ability to safely use tools; to include but not limited to: telephones, computer, copier, small hand tools, power tools, welders, forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders, overhead cranes, lathes, table saws. Essential Physical Tasks: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds without assistance; Lifting/Moving anything over 50 pounds must be assisted. Must be able to wear safety equipment as required for personal protection. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; stoop, squat, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to safely use hand tools, power tools, large equipment, forklifts and maintenance materials. Must be able to use office equipment such as computers, multi-line phones, scanners, copiers, and paper cutters.
