Press release from the Weston Public Schools: May 18, 2021 The Town of Weston has a one-seat vacancy on the School Committee due to a resignation. As provided by Mass. General Law, this vacancy is filled by vote by a quorum of the Select Board and a quorum of the School Committee. Candidates for this position will be appointed to fill the remainder of the vacated term, which expires in May 2022. If you are interested in filling the vacancy, please email a letter of interest with background information to the Town of Weston Select Board, at [email protected], and/or School Committee at [email protected], no later than 6 P.M. on Friday, May 21st, 2021. Interviews are anticipated to occur May 25th at 6:15 p.m. This vacancy is the same one as previously noticed but deferred until after the Town Election.
