American theater and film actor Charles Grodin died at 87 in Wilton, Connecticut. Charles Grodin began his acting career as a drummer in 2000 Leagues Under the Sea. But the real popularity came to him thanks to roles in several parts of "Beethoven", a remake of "King Kong" and the comedy "Catch Before Midnight."Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, Charles Grodin hosted a television entertainment program and was a liberal political columnist for CBS. The actor also won an Emmy for his work on The Paul Simon Show.
