Home Health Scheduler Come join the team at Northeast Clinical Services! Northeast Clinical Services provides a full range of home health care services specifically specializing in the provision of Continuous Care Nursing Services to medically complex and fragile children and adults. Our services are delivered with care and compassion, are always patient/family-centered, and are coordinated with other health care providers as needed. Job Summary: Formulates partnerships across the agency to support value-added service to management and families that reflects the mission and business objectives of the division. Provides scheduling and clerical support to the Clinical Managers. Major Responsibilities: Scheduling Coordinates placement of nurses with existing and new cases meeting the specific scheduling and shift needs for both the families and nurses.Creates and maintains staff schedules and communicates with families, nurses, and Clinical Managers on day to day changes.Provides staffing for sick leave, vacation, long term leaves.Schedules client appointments/visits according to care plans and staff availability.Assists with troubleshooting issues that arise with nursing staff and meeting schedules.Enters scheduling data, creates schedules by using Kantime and updates all information on applicable sites.Maintains records of schedules for patients; verification of insurance with Insurance Coordinator.Performs general office duties including but not limited to word processing, photocopies, files, shreds, sort/distributes mail, provides reception and telephone services.On-call responsibilities as needed. Other duties and special projects as assigned. Education and Experience: Associates Degree or 2-3 years of equivalent experience. One to two years scheduling experience preferred. Prior home health care experience is a plus. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to handle/safeguard sensitive and confidential information. Positive attitude and team player. Proactive and independent with ability to take initiative. Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines. Outstanding computer skills, including experience with MS Office suite, Content Management Systems.
