Motorcyclist From Lindenhurst Critically Injured In Crash

BAY SHORE, NY — A motorcyclist was critically injured after a crash in Bay Shore on Tuesday night, according to Suffolk police. Gregory Kostik, 41, of Lindenhurst was riding a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound of Montauk Highway when his motorcycle crashed into the back of a 2014 BMW sedan that was making a left turn onto Garner Lane at 8:40 p.m., police said. Kostik was taken to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore in critical condition. The driver of the BMW was not injured. Both cars were impounded for safety checks.
