Evelyn's Cleaning Service is looking to hire house cleaning technicians who are motivated to help our company grow! This position comes with the opportunity to become a team leader within three months of training. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: *Showing up to the office on time to leave with your designated team to various job locations. *Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, refrigerators, microwaves, etc. *Washing linens, making beds, sweeping and mopping floors. *Cleaning windows and dusting. *Using the correct cleaning products and equipment for each surface. FUN FACT: Did you know cleaning hardwood floors with a regular mop can cause the wood to warp? This is because of the moisture a regular mop tends to leave behind. Instead, use a microfiber floor mop to ensure a clean moist-free finish and prolong the life of those beautiful hardwood floors! FUN FACT #2: Stone showers should NEVER be cleaned with harsh chemicals like Kaboom Oxi Clean. This severely damages stone showers. Instead, use cleaning products that are specifically made for stone surfaces. But don't worry, we will provide all of the equipment you need to get the job done! Job Environment: Each day will begin by you showing up at the office to meet with your designated team of 3 - 4 people and head off to each house in the vehicle provided by the company. For the safety of the entire staff, temperatures are taken at the beginning of each day. The job entails you being able to work with others to create a team that efficiently and effectively cleans the homes of our clients. Not to mention, this is a great opportunity to make new friends that will last a lifetime! Goal: Our goal is to be able to train you to become the next team leader in a span of three months. Doing so comes with a raise! As a team leader you will be responsible of giving homes the final walk through to make sure that everybody's work is above satisfactory. You will be responsible for driving the company vehicle and getting all of your team and equipment from house to house in a safe and timely manner. You will be responsible of taking payments or sending invoices to those clients who did not pay right away. You will also be in charge of checking in and out of each house to notify the client when you started and when you finished cleaning their homes. All of this can be done through our app that is easy to use! Pay: The pay is from $14 - $15 an hour depending on experience. The pay period is weekly, so you get to take a check home every Friday! All tips given for your outstanding work are for you and your team members to keep. Sick pay is also provided for each employee. Overtime pay is also available, particularly during the winter months when we are the busiest. We also LOVE to give periodic bonuses for outstanding work! Side Note: Because we are a small business, we are unable to currently provide health benefits, but we promise it's in the works! Work days: Work days are Monday - Friday.
